Tire choice!
The choice of tires is critical in this kind of race. Model, constructions, size, everything is important.
For 2022, Damien is riding:
- a Schwalbe Magic Mary in 2.40, super DH and extra soft compound at the front; for maximum grip and very good resistance to punctures.
- a Schwalbe Hans Dampf, in 2.35, Super Gravity and soft compound at the rear; to gain some pedaling performance!
Both tires are tubeless, without inserts.
